Take care of someone’s errands or housework and you can earn cold hard cash! Read on to find out how it works and if it is right for you.
How does it work?
- People post their tasks or chores on DoMyStuff.com in an auction style format. They set a bidding length from 15 minutes to 30 days.
- Posters can limit bidders based on several criteria, like location or rating.
- At this point you can go online and browse the various jobs and bid an amount that you would be willing to do the job for. You can also leave a short comment to the poster to try to convince them to pick you.
- During the bidding process or after, posters can review bids and select who they want to do their job.
- After the terms have been decided, the poster forwards their payment to an online escrow account to be released to the worker when the job is finished.
- When the job is done, the poster will leave feedback for the worker so others can be informed about how well they did the job.
The cool thing about DoMyStuff.com is that you can find jobs for just about anything on it, paying anywhere from a few bucks for doing 3 loads of laundry, several hundred for creating a website.
