I just took the Quicken Spare Change Challenge and it didn’t turn out too well! I know I waste money on a lot of things each month (Starbucks almost every day), but $400 was more than I was expecting.
Nothing too scientific here, but this little quiz will definitely show you a few areas that you could save a few more bucks.

The test showed I waste $796 monthly but I don’t think I really waste that much. A lot of the questions didn’t really apply to me lol.

Yeah, like I said… Nothing really scientific here, but there definitely are some things that it brings up that could help just about anyone save money.
According to that test, I waste $332 on food. We don’t eat out much, but we do toss a lot of produce. I feel terrible about it, too, particularly when people in the world are actually going hungry.
But I must say that compared to some of the scores I am seeing, we are doing quite well!
Fortunately I don’t waste that much!
That was a funny little test! At first I wasn’t sure I wasted as much as they claimed, but after reading their tips and such, I could see how they’d come up with such a high number for me. It’s good to get some perspective!

I just took the test and it says that I’m wasting more than $700.
I think that it isn’t reliable since most of the question isn’t applicable for me.

I remember reading about Henry Ford, and him doing this for his company. On a daily basis, he would write down everything he spent.
He attributed this as one of the things that made him successful.

It said I waste over $900 a month. I don’t make that much. I am a student still so it probably not geared as much towards me as a full time worker.

Wow great challenge, I think everybody’s number will surprise them. It’s amazing how much money we waste when we really think about it.
