I Need a New Car!

My car recently got broken into and whoever did it got away with my stereo and a bunch of stuff. I’ve been dealing with the insurance company and having a bit of a hassle getting some of the stuff replaced, but this last break-in has left my car looking very sad. It now has 150,000 miles on it, has plenty of dents and scratches and now doesn’t even have a stereo.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely happy that I even have a car and that it is paid off and still running. I just have really been thinking that it would be nice to have a new one. Unfortunately with the state of my personal finances at the moment, buying one is definitely out of the question. So what am I going to do? Win one!
Well that’s the plan at least…
I’m going to enter every legitimate contest I can find for a car as often as they will let me. Do I expect to win? Not really. But just like radio contests, you can’t win them unless you enter!
So here is where I need your help.
Since I don’t really have a lot of time to search the internet looking for contests, I’m asking you to find them and send them to me. Anyone that sends me a legitimate contest link will get a free linkback to their blog. I’m going to post the links to all the contests on a special page along with the linkback to the person who sent it to me, that way anyone who wants to try to win too can visit the page and enter as often as they want.
If you send me a link, make sure it follows these criteria:
- Absolutely no cost to enter
- Must be for a new car, doesn’t matter what type
- Must come from a reputable company that won’t steal or sell your information
- Must be open to entries for at least two more weeks
- Not a scam!
Specifically I’m looking for contests from large companies like Coca-Cola or Microsoft, not the scammy websites that promise big rewards for signing up your friends for Blockbuster Online and then don’t actually pay.
All links and linked blogs must be approved by me before I post them and I reserve the right to remove any link for any reason at any time if I choose to.

Hey Grant, Just got your RSS and had to get over here to see what was going on. Sorry about the break-in that is a bummer. And now you want to win a car…I did see a Corvette on a website but not sure where it was. With that said it certainly wasn’t a Coke or Pepsi Co. but it sounded legit. If I come across it, I’ll let you know. Wouldn’t you like a Vette??
