I’m a huge Swagbucks fan. But one of the things I don’t really like about Swagbucks is the huge variation in value of prizes in the Swagstore compared to other prizes and what they are really worth. For example, a $5 Amazon gift card is 45 Swagbucks, but a $10 Barns and Noble gift card is 115 Swagbucks.
In order to help sort which prizes are actually worth buying, I’ve created this table of all the gift cards in the Swagbucks store. I’ve started with gift cards since they are the easiest to value and since that is what most people tend to use their Swagbucks on, although if this becomes popular I will create tables for all the sections within the Swagstore. This table and any others I create will all be in the Swagbucks Prizes section of my Homepage
To value prizes, I decided to use a value of 10 cents per Swagbucks. I think this makes sense since it is an easy number to calculate and since 45 Swagbucks can get you $5 to Amazon (and you can buy almost anything on Amazon.
There are four fields on the table
- Prize – The name of the prize.
- Swagbucks Cost – Number of Swagbucks required to redeem the prize.
- Dollar Value – Actual US dollar value of the prize
- Real Cost – Actual cost of the prize using 10 cents per Swagbuck rate
- Value – Cost – Shows the value of the prize, higher numbers are a good deal, negative numbers are a bad deal
- Notes – Any notes about the prize
If you like this list or you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments. And don’t forget you can sort the list by any field!

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I love SwagBucks myself, but they are really strict regarding disabling your account if you search too fast. Normal searching for me, depending on what I’m searching for is 4-5 searches in a few minutes time. If I do that with Swagbucks, I get my account deactivated. You then are unable to get into your account and have to beg them to please allow your account to be deactivated. They give you a chance but then make sure and tell you if it happens again, you will be deactivated permanently. I have noticed, (I’m sure by coincidence?) that usually anytime I have a lot of swagbucks or items waiting to be mailed that I have redeemed is usually when this has happened, so don’t use it as a regular search engine like google. To me, it’s a bit too strict. Prizes that are good are not really attainable. It will take a while, but I have redeemed a poster and a game or two already, so it’s still pretty cool for a free site. You usually get one or two a day and on can get free swagbuck codes almost 5 or so times a week. Check it out.
